The Brighton Lusaka Health Link Open Meeting held on the 5th of July 2022 was a lovely evening to ‘show and tell’ what’s been going on with the link, attended in-person at the AEB in Brighton and online by our friends and colleagues in Zambia. Due to the pandemic visits and exchanges were suspended for some time but work continued!
Presentations came from:
Anja St Clair-Jones Pharmacy,
Heike Rabe and Jyoti Lakhwani in Zambia Neonatology,
Jaime Vera HIV & Sexual Health
Kate Lankester Oncology
The Link has been co-producing work for the benefit of the health of people in Zambia through training health care workers but is also taking on an increasing number of research projects relevant to the charity’s aims – and doing well in terms of getting funding for such projects. If you have an area you think would be worth developing then do get in touch with us – particularly those of you based in Zambia, and then we can endeavour to connect people up and develop projects!
